The U.S. Census Bureau counts all American residents every ten years but contacts annual community surveys every year. If you search for African immigrants in the data, you are unlikely to get any results. The reason being the bureau does not keep records of immigrants but does for foreign born respondents, hence when you search www.census.gov look for foreign born not immigrants! This was clarified by Mrs Ally Gibson when she delivered a workshop organized by Econ AfricanUSA PBC. Looking at all the foreign born Americans data it was found that African immigrants are generally more educated than the average American population but the average annual family income for African immigrants is below the general population, Econ AfricanUSA PBC has a mission to narrow that gap by empowering American Africans.

In the USA it’s not all serious busines for American Africans, they participate in social and cultural functions like choir and dance.
